I Know this is a long read but PLEASE read the warranty information thoroughly, it will save no end of frustration in the unlikely event you have a perceived warranty claim.

Warranty does not extended to or cover any used, ex demonstration, traded, second hand, consignment or such items and equipment,  nor does it cover items new or used purchased though auction or auction like (e.g. E-Bay) purchases.

WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By Purchasing your RRV Product you have agreed to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.

Warranty does not extended to or cover any used, ex demonstration, traded, ex display, second hand, consignment items or equipment supplied by RRV nor does it cover items new or used purchased though auction or auction like (e.g. E-Bay) purchases.

RRV warrants to the original purchaser that for a period of twelve months from the date of first purchase all items of our manufacture are free from defects under normal use and maintenance of specified service.

Warranty is for main land Australia and the main Island of Tasmania only, it does not extend to areas or islands governed or controlled by Australian authority or areas outside of Australia.

Any defect in an item of our manufacture will be corrected without charge for parts or labour. Repair or replacement of defective items under this warranty will be at the discretion of RRV.

As the original purchaser, you must return the completed warranty registration slip provided with the product, within 10 days of the date of purchase of the product to: PO box 1322 Warragul 3820.

Original proof of purchase of the product or the receipt will be required for any warranty claim to be considered.

In the event of a claim within the warranty term, a purchaser should contact the warranty department at RRV via e-mail at warranty@rebelrv.com.au prior to carrying out any repair or rectification. Any claim for repairs carried out without prior authorization will be denied.

Where an on-site repair is requested, a service call fee would be applicable at the expense of the owner. Under the warranty terms any part of our imported product proven to be defective in material or workmanship during the 12 month warranty period will be replaced or repaired free of charge if such part is returned to an authorised RRV dealer or RRV with transportation charges pre-paid at the expense of the original purchaser. Return of the replacement part to the original purchaser by RRV, shall also be at his or her expense.

This warranty does not cover failure caused by any of the following: normal wear and tear commensurate with age and use, deterioration or fading of paint, curtains, seats, or soft trim, damage caused by towing with incorrect tyre pressure, overloading, misuse or abuse of any products, incorrect towing equipment, negligence, water damage, accident damage, off-road or unsealed road use, owner abuse or damage caused by incorrect electricity, gas or water supply or any consequential damage due to continued usage or towing after the defect has or should have become apparent to the purchaser or user of the caravan. It is the responsibility and obligation of the purchaser to notify the warranty department at RRV immediately a fault becomes apparent.

Any work required due to alterations to State or Federal legislation which occurs after manufacture.

Service items such as, but not limited to tyres, batteries, light bulbs, hoses, seals, consumables, routine maintenance and wheel alignments are the responsibility of the purchaser.

 No warranty is given for defects or damages caused by additional products, modifications by the Customer or Dealer

RRV products have been designed for recreational use and not for permanent residential purposes.

When used for permanent living possible premature wear and tear is not covered under the limited warranty.

 Appliances and equipment which are not manufactured by RRV (for example the refrigerator, freezer, air conditioning, stove, microwave, radio, CD player, television, TV antenna, annexe, awning, brakes, chassis, and suspension) are covered by any warranty issued by the manufacturer of such items for the term offered by the manufacturer of such items. RRV offers no warranty on these items and the cost of removal and replacement of such items for the purpose of repair is the purchaser s responsibility.

 RRV will no be liable for any consequential loss or damage such as, but not limited to, disrupted travel plans, accommodation or other associated costs while repairs are carried out to the caravan in the event of an authorised claim. It is the purchaser s responsibility to deliver the caravan to and from an authorised repairer in the event of a claim.

No warranty will be issued to a purchaser unless the caravan has undergone pre-delivery inspection by a RRV dealer. The purpose of this pre-delivery inspection is for the dealer to explain and demonstrate all the fixtures and fittings of the caravan, and for the purchaser to acknowledge that all items fitted and supplied are as ordered, and in working order at the time of delivery.

 It is a condition of this warranty that it is the purchaser's responsibility the caravan is returned to an authorised RRV dealer or a recommended repair agent within 3 months of the date of purchase for a maintenance inspection and adjustment service at the purchasers expense. You must retain evidence that proper maintenance has been performed.

In the interests of product development, RRV reserves the right to make improvements and changes to their product and therefore is not obligated to the provision of original products for warranty purposes.

Any cost or expenses incurred by the purchaser in making a claim or in complying with the purchaser s obligations under this warranty shall be the purchaser s responsibility. This includes any fees for maintenance service, towing fees, storage, or travelling time which may be required by a repairer to perform warranty repairs.

This warranty is issued to the original purchaser, and is not transferable.

This is the only warranty issued by RRV to the purchaser, and excludes any oral or written warranty given by any dealer or agent of RRV. Any benefit conferred by this warranty is in addition to any rights and remedies which are available to the purchaser under relevant state federal laws.

RRV reserve the right towards all warranty claims, to liaise with the repair agent towards repairing or replacing the defective components.

What is Not Covered

This warranty shall not apply to normal maintenance, such as but not limited to greasing wheel bearings or tightening wheel nuts, that the vehicle will require or to any damages arising from the failure to have such maintenance carried out. This also applies to the routine cleaning of filters such as in air conditioners and water pumps. Fabric items such as canvas, canopies, windows screenings, vinyl windows, cushion and mattress covers are not warranted, against tears, punctures, shrinkage, softening, fading or soiling but are warranted only against defective workmanship and material.

Damage caused to tent sections, curtains or plywood finish by condensation being left untreated is not covered. The deterioration of sealants over time is not covered.

This warranty does not apply to any defect in the aesthetics or physical appearance of the unit, or to normal deterioration of the soft trim and appearance items due to wear and exposure nor to impact damage whether static or in transit.

This warranty also does not apply to any RRV product used for commercial purposes, rent or for hire, or subject to misuse, neglect or accident.

Warranty does not extended to or cover any used, ex demonstration, traded, second hand, consignment items or equipment supplied by RRV nor does it cover items new or used purchased though auction or auction like (e.g. E-Bay) purchases.

Incorrect fitment, attachment or misuse of any and all items or damage or injury resulting

 Commercial use or rental of this vehicle voids this warranty.

Damages or failures resulting from the following are also not covered by RRV warranty:

*Exceeding maximum ATM Weight (REF V.I.N. Plate).

*Alterations, repairs and additions not authorised by RRV.

*Accident, theft or fire.

*Stone strike, hail, windstorm, lightning, external fire or unusual environmental conditions.

RRV does not warrant for any failures or faults in camper tent sections or aluminium surfaces and joints if they have been subjected to after treatments (gloss finish protectants). This includes accidental contamination (for example: splashing or spray drift). Any such treatments or contaminants void RRV warranty on all affected parts. RRV warranty expressly excludes any liability for consequential loss or damage such as (including but not limited to) the use of your RRV unit, loss of time, inconvenience, expense for petrol), telephone, travel, lodging, loss or damage to personal property, lost revenues, salaries or commissions resulting from down time and these items are not covered by this warranty and RRV hereby disclaims any responsibility or liability for such.

Outback & Off Road

No Vehicles imported or supplied by RRV are designed or recommended for off road, outback or unsealed road use.

Gas venting regulations and other construction restraints limit the effectiveness of these products against dust and water penetration.

Under no circumstances should these products be exposed to water crossings.

We strongly recommend towing at a safe speed according to travel conditions with extra care and attention required on uneven surfaces.

Our units are not designed for impact or heavy landings or rutted roads or tracks or four wheel drive tracks

As a consequence, they should not be used on such tracks and roads.

The following items are not covered under RRV warranty:

 Impact or stone damage to body, chassis and running gear.

Soiling of fabrics and internal fitments from dust or other air- bourne substances.

Water damage.

Movement or damage caused by dislodgment of appliances and fittings resulting from use on corrugated or uneven surfaces.

Use on roads or tracks described above as not being suitable.

General damage arising from misuse is not covered by warranty.

What Must You Do

As a new owner of a RRV, you are responsible for regular and proper maintenance. This will help prevent conditions arising from neglect that are not covered by your RRV Warranty.
